Students use blogging as an outlet to display their learning. This is my blog that I use as an example for students. I use this to demonstrate how socially responsible behavior can be expected in every online interaction, including posting about something as controversial as drone images.

Evidence 2

This is an example of a student’s blog. Blogging assignments provide open ended but guiding questions which allow students to express themselves but also answers the essential question. Personal data and identity is protected by not allowing the students to use their real names or post pictures in recognizable locations.

Evidence 3

Students become inured to daily announcements but, with creativity and humor, it is possible to engage them even near the end of the term. In a world where texting is the normal way to communicate, this demonstrates how to utilize this type of communication technology to instigate action in a respectful manner.
